Artist's Description
This was done in Adobe Illustrator, using a technique employing tangents and overlapping, and creating interesting patterns with shape and colours. I thought the frog was kind of cute, but I guess there is also a serious undertone to the piece. It was an interesting exercise though, and a technique that might ultimately look good in children's book illustration.
About Derek O'Gorman
I have loved drawing and art for as long as I can remember. I studied art at a special high school as a teenager, and in the Independent Illustration program at Seneca College at the college level. I also have a degree in English, and love to write. I have a love of comics, but I am interested in anything to do with illustration. My favorite subjects are people. Take a look around. I hope you like what you see. If you choose to buy something, that's even better! Check back now and then too, as I will keep adding new pieces when I can. Thanks for dropping by.
