Artist's Description
Hawkeye and Chingachgook are among my favorite characters of all time. Everybody remembers them from "The Last of the Mohicans", but there were actually five classic novels written by James Fenimore Cooper in which they appeared. I loved to read their adventures, and I have also loved to see them on television and in the movies over the years. I hope a little of that love comes through in this scene "Behind the Waterfall". It was digitally drawn and painted in Photoshop.
About Derek O'Gorman
I have loved drawing and art for as long as I can remember. I studied art at a special high school as a teenager, and in the Independent Illustration program at Seneca College at the college level. I also have a degree in English, and love to write. I have a love of comics, but I am interested in anything to do with illustration. My favorite subjects are people. Take a look around. I hope you like what you see. If you choose to buy something, that's even better! Check back now and then too, as I will keep adding new pieces when I can. Thanks for dropping by.
